Overall goal


Ziel dieses modular aufgebauten Projektes ist die Unterstützung der Entwicklung einer praxisnahen, internationalen Qualitätsstandards entsprechenden Tourismusausbildung in Albanien, Bulgarien, Kroatien, Montenegro und Rumänien.


Dies soll erreicht werden durch in den jeweiligen Länderprogrammen beschriebene Maßnahmen und Aktivitäten, die sehr genau auf die Bedürfnisse der an dem Projekt beteiligten Regionen, Pilotschulen und weiteren Institutionen im Schulumfeld eingehen. Grundlage ist ein Ausbildungsprofil, das von thematisch umfassenden, touristischen Qualifikationen, gepaart mit betriebswirtschaftlichen Grundlagen, ausgeht. Folgende übergeordnete Ziele sind den Länderprogrammen gleich:


- Anpassung der fachpraktischen und -theoretischen Inhalte an Bedürfnisse der lokalen Arbeitsmärkte und an internationale Standards in der Tourismusausbildung (Orientierung an regionalen Bedürfnissen und Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten)


- Einführung praxisnahen Unterrichts, der den Erwerb moderner Schlüsselqualifikationen und branchenspezifischer Kompetenzen ermöglicht (Orientierung an Sozialer Entwicklung, Demokratieförderung, berufsspezifischem Know-How)


- Schulung und Beratung von Schlüsselkräften an Schulen und in der Bildungsverwaltung zur Förderung einer engen Kooperation zwischen Schulen, dem Arbeitsmarkt und der lokalen Tourismuswirtschaft (Orientierung an der Förderung einer ¿integrierten Regionalentwicklung¿)


- Schulung und Beratung in der Dissemination von Projekterfahrungen in die Regelausbildung


Die Maßnahmen bauen auf den österreichischen Erfahrungen in der Tourismusausbildung und den Erfahrungen aus bisherigen Kooperationen im Tourismusschulbereich in Ost- und Südosteuropa auf. Neben den Fortbildungsmaßnahmen für die beteiligten LehrerInnen und das Schulpersonal werden auch bedeutende Mittel für den Erwerb der notwendigsten Infrastruktur an den Pilotschulen zur Verfügung gestellt.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
