Diese dreimonatige Projektphase dient dem ordnungsgemäßen und nachhaltigen Abschluss der 2010 begonnenen Kooperation.


Ziel des Projektes ist es, die Erhöhung der Wettbewerbsfähigkeit des organischen Subsektors in ZA zu fördern und damit einen Beitrag zur Erhöhung der Diversifizierung des Angebotes auf den lokalen und nationalen Märkten sowie beim Export der organischen Produktion innerhalb ZA und nach Europa zu leisten.


Zu den erwarteten Resultaten gehören:

1. Erhöhung der unternehmerischen Fähigkeiten der Kleinbauern und ihrer Organisationen;

2. Diversifizierung und Qualitätsverbesserung des Angebotes;

3. Stärkung der Bewegung für Biolandbau in El Salvador und Verbesserung des Zugangs von ProduzentInnen und ihren Organisationen zu Märkten;

4. Sensibilisierung der Öffentlichkeit sowie der politischen und wirtschaftlichen Eliten für die Vorteile der org. Produktion und den negativen Auswirkungen der Anwendung von chemischen Pestiziden und Pflanzenschutzmitteln.


Die wichtigsten Projektmaßnahmen lassen sich wie folgt zusammenfassen:

1. Kapazitätsentwicklung für Kleinbauern durch Diplomkurs zum Thema organische Produktion;

2. Finanzierung der Businesspläne und fachliche Begleitung der Kleinbauern bei der Umsetzung;

3. Regionales Treffen (Mesa de Negociación) mit einer Zertifizierungsfirma;

4. Öffentlichkeitsarbeit in Radio, Fernsehen, Presse sowie Verteilung von Broschuren und Flyern.


Durch die Maßnahmen direkt begünstigt sind ca. 1.200 ProduzentInnen und die 21 involvierten Kooperativen; indirekt begünstigt werden die Familien der ProduzentInnen und andere in der Wertschöpfungskette Involvierte sowie die Bewegung für Biolandbau in El Salvador.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
