Overall goal


Ziel des Projekts ist die Schaffung des Zugangs zu beruflicher Aus- und Weiterbildung (in sogenannten ‚VET-Zentren‘ - ‚Vocational Education and Training‘) für marginalisierte junge Menschen in der Provinz Sofala im Osten von Mosambik.

In Mosambik herrscht großer Mangel an beruflichen Ausbildungseinrichtungen; besonders junge Menschen mit Behinderung haben praktisch keinen Zugang zu beruflicher Aus- und Weiterbildung.

Die lokale Partnerorganisation ‚Young Africa Mozambique‘ betreibt zwei berufliche Ausbildungszenten in Sofala (Beira, Dondo). Um auch junge Menschen mit Behinderung zu inkludieren und jungen Frauen und Männern außerhalb der Provinz Sofala diese Ausbildung zu ermöglichen, werden zwei barrierefrei und inklusiv gestaltete Wohnheime für insgesamt 164 StudentInnen errichtet.

Resultate:

1) 1.000 Jugendliche sind ausgebildet und auf (frei)berufliche Tätigkeit vorbereitet.

2) Sensibilisierung zum Thema Behinderung und Verlinkung zum Arbeitsmarkt sind erfolgt.

3) Zwei Wohnheime wurden im Landwirtschafts-VET-Zentrum in Dondo errichtet und werden nachhaltig betrieben.

4) Die beiden VET-Zentren in Beira und Dondo wurden baulich und punkto Ausstattung an die Bedürfnisse von StudentInnen mit Behinderung angepasst.

5) Die Kapazitäten des Managements, des Personals, der StudentInnen und sämtlicher Partner wurden hinsichtlich Förderung von Inklusion gestärkt.

Insgesamt wird durch das Projekt 1.000 marginalisierten Jugendlichen eine berufsbildende Ausbildung ermöglicht. Die beiden Ausbildungszentren in Beira und Dondo werden als Modelle für inklusive und barrierefreie Bildungszentren dienen.

Indirekte Begünstigte: Familien und Gemeindemitglieder der 1.000 marginalisierten Jugendlichen; 10.000 sensibilisierte StudentInnen in den zwei VET-Zentren; 200 in ihren Kapazitäten gestärkte MitarbeiterInnen von Young Africa und 100 MitarbeiterInnen lokaler Partnerorganisationen von Licht für die Welt; 100 Mitgliedsunternehmen der mosambikanischen Industrie- und Handelskammer.
