Overall goal


Projektziele:

1) Erhöhung des Bewusstseins in Österreich/Europa im Hinblick auf die wechselseitige Beziehung und Abhängigkeit zu und mit den Ländern des Südens/Ostens

2) Vertiefung des Dialogs zwischen den Anspruchsträgern der europäischen Entwicklungszusammenarbeit

3) Schaffung eines Zugangs zu relevanten Informationen und Kooperationsmöglichkeiten mit EuropeAid


Das Projekt dient der Unterstützung der österr. EU-Plattform für die Dauer von 2 Jahren vor allem für folgende Leistungen:

1) Organisation der Kommunikation zu den Mitgliedern der EU-Plattform sowie zwischen Mitgliedern und anderen Anspruchsträgern

2) Informationsbeschaffung- und -management zu EU-Entwicklungspolitik und Aktivitäten von CONCORD, insbesondere in den Bereichen Entwicklungsfinanzierung, entwicklungspolitischer Bildungs- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit, EU-Erweiterung und EU-Präsidentschaften

3) Produktion von Materialien und email-Newsletter zu EU-relevanten EZA-Themen

4) Organisation und Begleitung der Serviceleistungen der österreichischen EU-Plattform (Beratungsaktivitäten zu Budgetlinien der EU, etc.)

5) Organisation von Fortbildungsveranstaltungen und Seminaren zu EU-Institutionen sowie entwicklungspolitischen Themen mit europäischer Relevanz.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
