Overall goal


ProMACESS orientiert sich vorrangig an den HandwerkerInnen und bietet Maßnahmen, die notwendig sind, um Einzelbetriebe des informellen Sektors in professionelle Kleinhandwerksbetriebe umzuformen. Die Begünstigten sind 10.681 HandwerkerInnen (davon 62,7 % Frauen) in den Zielgebieten, die Mitglieder des Nationalen Handwerkerverbandes Senegals FENAS sind


Globales Projektziel

Durch Verbesserung der Produktivität des Handwerkssektors in den Zielgebieten einen Beitrag zur Verminderung der Armut zu leisten.

Spezifische Ziele

Stärkung der organisatorischen Kapazitäten des Nationalen Handwerkerverbandes FENAS, um damit eine geeignete Organisationsstruktur für die Weiterentwicklung der handwerklichen Kleinbetriebe in den Zielregionen zu schaffen.

Stärkung der Lebensfähigkeit der Handwerksbetriebe in wirtschaftlicher Hinsicht

Weiterentwicklung des Frauenhandwerks und Stärkung des Repräsentationsniveaus der Handwerkerinnen.

Erwartete Ergebnisse

Erhöhung der Einkünfte der HandwerkerInnen um ca. 30 %

Existenz von mindestens 4 Spar- und Kreditkassen, die angepasste Finanzleistungen anbieten

Umwandlung von mindestens 100 Einzelproduktionsbetrieben (davon 50 Frauenbetrieben) in leistungsfähige Kleinhandwerksbetriebe

Vertretung der Frauen in den Entscheidungsgremien der FENAS

Errichtung eines selbstverwalteten Unterstützungssystems für Handwerkerinitiativen in den 4 Zielgebieten

Existenz von mindestens 12 Ressourcenzentren für handwerkliche Kleinbetriebe

Verbesserung der technischen und administrativen Kapazitäten der Kleinhandwerksbetriebe

Frauenhandwerk wurde in den 4 Zielregionen weiterentwickelt.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
