Short Description:

Overall goal


Oberziel des Projektes ist ein Beitrag zur Armutsbekämpfung bzw. zur Verbesserung der Lebensumstände der osttimoresischen Bevölkerung, wobei besonderes Augenmerk gelegt wird auf:

1) Verbesserung einer flächendeckenden Gesundheitsversorgung;

2) Hilfestellung und Beratung zur Trauma-Aufarbeitung von Flüchtlingen, Marginalisierten sowie Opfern von Gewalt und Trauma;

3) Verschriftlichung und Förderung der nationalen Sprache Tetum sowie Aufbau eines Bildungssystems;

4) Capacity Building für die Zivilgesellschaft.


Die direkte Zielgruppe sind 18.140 OsttimoresInnen; an die 398.230 Personen (v.a. SchülerInnen und Frauen) profitieren indirekt vom Projekt.


Aktivitäten:

1) Reproduktive Gesundheit: Ausbildung von Gesundheitspromotorinnen, Produktion und Verteilung von Gesundheitslehrmaterialen

2) Trauma-Counselling: Ausbildung von "District Trauma Facilitators" und nationalen Trauma-TrainerInnen, Produktion und Verteilung von Trauma-Lehrmaterialien

3) Tetum - Sprachstandarisierung: Ausbildung von ExpertInnen, welche die Orthographie der Nationalsprache Tetum beherrschen, Abhaltung von nationalen Konferenzen zur Sprachstandardisierung, Übersetzung, Produktion und Verteilung von Tetum-Büchern und Unterrichtsmaterialien

4) Capacity Building: Durchführung von Basistrainings für die Zivilgesellschaft

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
