Overall goal


SONNE-International hat mit den beiden ADA-kofinanzierten Vorläuferprojekten AMEPAR (Alphabetisierung/Schulbildung) und WEWAR (Sozialarbeiterinnen gegen FGM) in der Projektregion begonnen, erste notwendige Entwicklungsschritte zu unternehmen, um die Basis für eine eigenständige regionale Entwicklung zu schaffen. Eingebettet in ein umfangreiches integriertes vielseitiges Entwicklungsprogramm wird nun der dritte Bereich, die medizinische Basisversorgung der lokalen Bevölkerung in Angriff genommen.


Ziel des Projekts ist es, im Projektgebiet eine medizinische Basisversorgung der nomadisch lebenden Bevölkerung durch "mobile Gesundheitsbeauftragte" aufzubauen. Hierzu werden bei 20 verschiedenen Clans die besonders dafür geeigneten und vom Clan selbst selektierten Absolventen des SONNE - Alphabetisierungsprogramms herangezogen und in einer 6-monatigen Intensivausbildung zu Gesundheitsbeauftragten ausgebildet. Nach deren Ausbildung werden sie medizinisch grundausgestattet und nehmen danach ihren Dienst bei ihren eigenen Clans auf. Eine 1-monatige Fortbildung im zweiten Projektjahr soll das medizinische Wissen der Gesundheitsbeauftragten noch einmal verbessern.


Aktivitäten:

- Auswahlverfahren und Aufnahme von 20 Auszubildenden

- Organisation einer 6-monatigen Ausbildung zum Gesundheitsbeauftragten und jährlich insgesamt 2 Mal wiederkehrende 1-monatige Fortbildungsseminare

- Ausstattung der Gesundheitsbeauftragten mit Medikamenten, Entbindungssets und anderen notwendigen Materialien

- Entsendung der Gesundheitsbeauftragten und deren Koordinatoren ins Projektgebiet und kontinuierliche medizinische Betreuung der beneficiaries

- Organisation von 1 Mal jährlich stattfindenden Impfaktionen

- Organisation von Aufklärungskampagnen per Video und Generator

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
