Overall goal


Das Medienprojekt steht im Kontext des EU-Jahres für Entwicklung (EYD2015). Kernelement ist die mehrfach ausgezeichnete Sendereihe Globale Dialoge – Women on Air, die jeden Dienstag von 13 bis 14 Uhr auf Radio ORANGE 94.0 ausgestrahlt wird.

2015 befassen sich die Radiosendungen mit 20-Jahre Weltfrauenkonferenz Peking (Beijing20) und mit der Debatte um die neue Entwicklungsagenda (post2015). Strategien, Initiativen und Akteure zur Stärkung von Frauenrechten weltweit werden vorgestellt. Der Austausch mit themenspezifischen Institutionen und Netzwerken in Österreich sowie mit anderen freien Radios findet statt. Projektpartnerinnen aus dem Süden wirken mit.

Das Projekt umfasst 20 Radio-Sendungen, ca. 25.000 Menschen werden erreicht. Die Sendereihe wird auch auf einer Jahres-CD in der Auflage von 600 Stück produziert. Neben dem Hörfunk arbeitet das Projekt auch mit den Medien Print, Web/Social Media (Podcast, Weblog noso.at, Facebook und Twitter). Begleitende Schulungs- und Weiterbildungsangebote (Radiojournalismus, Sendungsgestaltung, Schnitt- und Studiotechnik sowie inhaltliche Fortbildung zum Schwerpunktthema) und Informationsarbeit ergänzen das Leistungspaket und stärken die Medienpräsenz von Frauen – sowohl als Gestalterinnen wie auch als Protagonistinnen der Berichterstattung. So soll die Erweiterung der Redaktionsgruppe (Gewinnung von mind. 7 neuen Radiomacherinnen) erzielt werden. Durch die Teilnahme an Workshops soll zudem die Medienpräsenz sowie die Qualifikationen von 15 Radiomacherinnen gestärkt werden.

Das Projekt wird aus OEZA-Mitteln in der Höhe von Euro 12.000,- (65,82% des Gesamtprojektvolumens) angesucht. Laufzeit: 1.1.-31.12.2015 (1 Jahr)
