Overall goal


Die Sendereihe Globale Dialoge auf Radio ORANGE 94.0 (Women on Air) wird 2014 mit dem Schwerpunkt Fair Wirtschaften fortgeführt. Die Radiosendungen befassen sich mit der sozialen und ökologischen Verantwortung von Unternehmen, Regierungen und KonsumentInnen sowie mit konkreten Wirtschaftspartnerschaften in der OEZA. Globale wirtschaftliche Zusammenhänge und deren Auswirkungen werden aufgezeigt, darüber hinaus konkrete Formen bzw. Möglichkeiten der Zusammenarbeit in der OEZA mit der österreichischen Wirtschaft zur Verbesserung der Lebenssituation von Menschen weltweit – insbesondere von Frauen – beleuchtet. Unterschiedliche Strategien, Wirtschaftskonzepte, Initiativen und Akteure zur stärkeren Einbindung von Frauen in die Wirtschaft werden vorgestellt. Der Austausch mit themenspezifischen Institutionen und Netzwerken (wie z.B. OeEB, OeKB, respACT, corporAID/ICEP, FIAN, FairTrade, NFI-respect, Wearfair/Clean Clothes) ist geplant. Projektpartnerinnen aus dem Süden wirken mit.

Die Maßnahmen umfassen 20 Radio-Sendungen. Neben dem Medium Hörfunk arbeitet das Projekt auch mit den Medien Print, Podcast und Weblog. Begleitende Schulungs- und Weiterbildungsangebote (Radiojournalismus, Sendungsgestaltung, Schnitt- und Studiotechnik sowie inhaltliche Fortbildung zum Schwerpunktthema) und Informationsarbeit ergänzen das Leistungspaket.

Das Projekt wird aus OEZA-Mitteln in der Höhe von Euro 12.000,- (65,54 % des Gesamtprojektvolumens) gefördert. Laufzeit: 1.1.-31.12.2014 (1 Jahr)

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
