Overall goal


Das Medienprojekt "Female.Culture.Works." ist dem Thema "Partizipative Kunst und Kulturarbeit" im Zusammenhang mit dem "EU-Jahr zur Bekämpfung von Armut und sozialer Ausgrenzung" gewidmet. Für den Inhalt verantwortlich zeichnet die Redaktionsgruppe "Women on Air" von Radio Orange 94.0. Ziel ist es, die gesellschaftliche Bedeutung der Kunst- und Kulturarbeit von Frauen sichtbar zu machen, über die prekären Beschäftigungsverhältnisse zu informieren und Beispiele einer guten Praxis aufzuzeigen. Außerdem soll das Projekt zu einer stärkeren Medienpräsenz von Frauen (insbesondere mit migrantischem Hintergrund) beitragen.

Die geplanten Maßnahmen umfassen 20 Radio-Sendungen in Kooperation mit Frauensolidarität sowie mit Institutionen und Einzelpersonen aus dem Kunst- und Kulturbereich. Alle Radiosendungen werden jeweils auch als Podcast-File sowie gesammelt auf Audio-CD produziert und via Präsentationsevent vorgestellt und online sowie über Print-Magazin vertrieben. Die produzierten Sendungen werden auf www.noso.at online archiviert und sind damit auch als Download verfügbar. Zusätzlich steht ein Weblog als multi-funktionales Internet-Portal für "Women on air" zur Verfügung. Begleitende Schulungs- und Weiterbildungsangebote (Radiojournalismus, Sendungsgestaltung, Schnitt- und Studiotechnik sowie inhaltliche Fortbildung zum Schwerpunktthema) und Informationsarbeit ergänzen das Leistungspaket.


Das Projekt wird aus OEZA-Mitteln in der Höhe von Euro 5.000,- (35,25% des Gesamtprojektvolumens) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
