Overall goal


Das Bündnis für Eine Welt/ ÖIE-Kärnten ist seit nunmehr 25 Jahren der wichtigste Akteur entwicklungspolitischer Bildungs- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit in Kärnten. Es betreibt eine regionale Infothek mit durchschnittlich 200 Fachberatungen pro Jahr. Im Rahmen der schulischen Bildungsarbeit werden ca. 100 Workshops und Ausstellungen durchgeführt. In Kooperation mit dem Pädagogischen Institut bietet die NRO Bündnis für Eine Welt/ ÖIE Kärnten Seminare zur Weiterbildung von LehrerInnen sowie ab 2006 auch halbtägige, schulinterne Fortbildungen an.

"Globale Einsichten entwickeln - eine Voraussetzung für die Realisierung des MDG 8 Globale Partnerschaften" bildet den Themenschwerpunkt des Jahresprogramms 2006 und ist Teil einer dreijährigen Projektkonzeption. Übergeordnetes Ziel ist es, die "Einsicht" in der Bevölkerung bezüglich der Ursachen und Zusammenhänge zwischen Entwicklungen in Ländern der "Dritten Welt" und der Entwicklung im Norden zu stärken. Im Rahmen der Erwachsenenbildung werden Vorträge zu den Schwerpunktthemen organisiert, Radiosendungen gestaltet und Hintergrundinformationen erstellt.

Die Arbeit des Bündnis für Eine Welt/ ÖIE basiert auf breiten Kooperationen in Kärnten sowie österreichweit. Mit der Forschungsstelle Friedenserziehung an der Universität Klagenfurt wird ab 2006 eine Reflexion zu Erfolgen und Problemen der Umsetzung von Globalem Lernen und Friedenserziehung begonnen.


Vorrangige Zielgruppen sind SchülerInnen, LehrerInnen, MultiplikatorInnen der Erwachsenenbildung, MitarbeiterInnen von Institutionen und NGOs aus den Bereichen Umwelt, Friedens- und Menschenrechtsbildung, Sozialpolitik und Sozialarbeit, KommunalpolitikerInnen und (entwicklungs-)politisch Interessierte.


Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von EUR 106.170,00 in der Höhe von EUR 60.000,00 (56,51 %) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
