Overall goal


Das Europahaus Burgenland – Akademie Pannonien hat auf dem Campus in Eisenstadt seinen Sitz. Ziel ist es, entwicklungspolitische Informations-, Beratungs- und Bildungsarbeit im Burgenland als Regionalstelle weiter zu führen. Dabei wird das Europahaus als kosmopolitischer Lernort gestaltet, wo laufend Bibliotheksgespräche und Aktionen stattfinden. Das Gelände (Bibliothek und Garten) wird als Ort der Begegnung für Menschen aus verschiedenen Ländern geöffnet. Mit Gemeinden und Initiativen werden Streitgespräche und künstlerische Installationen im Burgenland konzipiert.


Expected results


Entwicklungspolitische Fragen und Perspektiven fließen in die verschiedenen Tätigkeitsbereiche ein. Dabei wird einerseits öffentliche Aufmerksamkeit erzielt, als auch Bildungs- und Beratungsleistungen angeboten. Durch die folgenden Veranstaltungen werden etwa 1.200 Menschen erreicht.

Target group / Beneficiaries


Der Standort des Europahauses (Bibliothek und Garten) am Campus der Fachhochschule bietet Zugang zu Studierenden, über das Studentenwohnhaus der ÖJAB und die verschiedenen Studienzweige der Fachhochschule od. Pädagogischen Hochschule. Die jungen Menschen werden auf vielfältige Weise angesprochen. In die multikulturelle Gestaltung von Veranstaltungen und Festen, basierend auf einer Kooperation mit der Caritas, werden Menschen mit Migrationshintergrund eingebunden. Weitere Zielgruppen sind entwicklungspolitisch Interessierte, Kunst- und Kulturinteressierte, AktivistInnen in sozialen und humanitären Initiativen, sowie MultiplikatorInnen.

Kooperationspartner sind SOS Mitmensch Burgenland, Ökumenische Initiative Concentrum, werkstätte für kunst im leben, Verein Umdenken, Attac, Büchereien u.a. Über die Zusammenarbeit mit regionalen Partnern werden auch neue Zielgruppen angesprochen.


Activities


Das Projekt ermöglicht die Wahrnehmung und Entfaltung der entwicklungspolitischen Regionalstelle im Burgenland. Dazu werden mit Gemeinden und Initiativen im Land Streitgespräche und künstlerische Installationen konzipiert, mit Bibliothek und Garten am Standort des Europahauses wird ein kosmopolitischer Lernort gestaltet, wo laufend Bibliotheksgespräche und Aktionen stattfinden. Die Gestaltung von zwei Ausgaben der Zeitschrift WELT(GE)WISSEN, der Homepage und einer Konferenz dienen der Begegnung und Vernetzung, begleitende Öffentlichkeitsarbeit ist vorgesehen. Prozesse, Erkenntnisse und Ergebnisse werden dokumentiert und veröffentlicht.

Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von Euro 162.100 mit höchstens Euro 60.000 (37,01 %) gefördert.
