Short Description:

Overall goal


KommEnt, die Gesellschaft für Kommunikation und Entwicklung, führt in Fortsetzung des Projektes "Good Practice in EP Kommunikation und Bildung" zwischen 1.9.2009 und 31.12.2010 ein umfassendes Projekt zur Stärkung des Globalen Lernens in Österreich sowie zur Sicherung und Weiterentwicklung von Good Practice in der entwicklungspolitischen Bildungs-, Kultur- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit durch.


Die Maßnahmen umfassen

- die Koordination der Strategieentwicklung zur Stärkung Globalen Lernens in den Bereichen Erwachsenenbildung und Wissenschaft und Forschung, Maßnahmen zum Follow-Up zur Strategieentwicklung Globales Lernen im formalen Bildungswesen. Diese Maßnahmen werden in der "Kontaktstelle Globales Lernen" zusammengefasst und weiterentwickelt.

Mit dem Prozess zur Strategieentwicklung Globales Lernen gibt es erstmals in Österreich die Möglichkeit systematisch und koordiniert einen Entwicklungsplan für Globales Lernen zu entwerfen. Die Durchführung des Prozesses durch die Strategiegruppe Globales Lernen gewährleistet von Beginn an eine Zusammenarbeit zwischen VertreterInnen von Ministerien, Bildungsinstitutionen, NRO und wichtigen Dialogpartnern.


- ein Weiterbildungsprogramm für die entwicklungspolitische Inlandsarbeit

Im Bereich Kompetenzentwicklung und Weiterbildung wird KommEnt mit einer umfassenden Bedarfserhebung starten, danach werden die Weiterbildungsangebote konkretisiert.


- die Beratung und Begleitung von NRO in der Einführung und Umsetzung von systematischen Prozessen zur Selbstevaluation und Qualitätsentwicklung.


Die wichtigsten Zielgruppen und Kooperationspartner sind die entwicklungspolitischen NRO in Österreich, Bildungsinstitutionen und -organisationen, relevante Akteure in Schulpolitik und -verwaltung, zivilgesellschaftliche Akteure im nahen Umfeld des Globalen Lernens.


Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von EUR 196.085,00 in der Höhe von EUR 135.000,00 (68,85%) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
