Overall goal


KommEnt, die Gesellschaft für Kommunikation und Entwicklung, führt ein umfassendes und praxisnahes Programm zur Sicherung und Weiterentwicklung von Good Practice in der entwicklungspolitischen Bildungs-, Kultur- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit sowie zur Stärkung des Globalen Lernens in Österreich durch. Die Maßnahmen umfassen die Beratung und Begleitung ausgewählter NRO in der Einführung und Umsetzung von systematischen Prozessen zur Selbstevaluation und Qualitätsentwicklung sowie die Durchführung eines Weiterbildungsprogramms für die entwicklungspolitische Bildungs-, Kultur- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit. Es werden regionale Workshops angeboten.


In enger Kooperation mit der Strategiegruppe Globales Lernen werden wichtige Aufgabenbereiche zur weiteren Verankerung und Stärkung von Globalem Lernen im österreichischen Bildungswesen festgelegt. Unter anderem wirkt KommEnt an der Erstellung einer nationalen Strategie zum Globalen Lernen mit, welche im Peer Review des Global Education Network Europe empfohlen wurde.


Weiters führt KommEnt Start-Workshops zu Themenschwerpunkten der entwicklungspolitischen Informations- und Bildungsarbeit an.


Die wichtigsten Zielgruppen und Kooperationspartner sind die entwicklungspolitischen NRO in Österreich sowie zentrale Akteure im österreichischen Bildungswesen.


Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von EUR 108.156,00 in der Höhe von

EUR 98.156,00 (90,75 %) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
