Overall goal


KommEnt, die Gesellschaft für Kommunikation und Entwicklung, führt ein umfassendes Projekt zur Sicherung und Weiterentwicklung von Good Practice in der entwicklungspolitischen Bildungs-, Kultur- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit sowie zur Stärkung des Globalen Lernens in Österreich durch. Die Maßnahmen umfassen die Koordination der Strategieentwicklung zur Stärkung Globalen Lernens in Österreich und ein multiples Weiterbildungsprogramm für zivilgesellschaftliche Akteure in den Bereichen Entwicklungspolitik, Umweltbildung, Menschenrechtsbildung, Friedenspädagogik, interkulturelles und interreligiöses Lernen. Weitere Maßnahmen sind die Beratung und Begleitung von v. a. NRO in der Einführung und Umsetzung von systematischen Prozessen zur Selbstevaluation und Qualitätsentwicklung.


Die wichtigsten Zielgruppen und KooperationspartnerInnen sind die entwicklungspolitischen NRO in Österreich, zivilgesellschaftliche AkteurInnen im nahen Umfeld, kommunale Einrichtungen und Initiativen, die entwicklungspolitische Projekte durchführen oder Partnerschaften haben sowie zentrale AkteurInnen im österreichischen Bildungswesen.


Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von EUR 276.262,00 in der Höhe von EUR 197.280,00 (71,41%) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
