Overall goal


Durch eine schrittweise Dezentralisierung des Dachverbandes FOIRN in Richtung sub-regionaler Zusammenschlüsse lokaler Basisorganisationen (derzeit 30) innerhalb der (4) großen Nebenflußregionen des Rio Negro-Gebietes soll die Logistik, Koordination u. Projektbegleitung für die im jeweiligen Einzugsbereich liegenden Siedlungen verbessert werden. Dies ist insofern von Bedeutung , als dass durch parallele Fortbildungsmaßnahmen die Planungs- und Durchführungskapazität der indianischen Dorfgemeinschaften gefördert werden soll, um ihnen Zugang zum Regionalfonds für Kommunalvorhaben zu verschaffen. In Ableitung der bisherigen Erfahrungen im Bereich der Pilotversuche zur Erschließung/Diversifizierung nachhaltiger Einkommensquellen ist eine Weiterentwicklung der Programmlinie Produktion und Kommerzialisierung von traditionellem Kunsthandwerk vorgesehen (Erweiterung der Produktpalette auf Basis von Vorerhebungen bzgl. Ihres Produktions- u. Vermarktungspotentials und begleitenden sozioökologischen Impaktstudien). Im Bereich der Identitätsstärkung u. Sicherung des kulturellen Erbes der (21) verschiedenen Volksgruppen ist zum einen der Aufbau eines systematischen Informationsprogramms (Radiosendung in diversen Sprachen/Herausgabe eines monatlichen Nachrichtenbulletins) sowie die Fortsetzung der systematischen Sammlung und Aufarbeitung der mündlichen Überlieferungen geplant, zum anderen soll durch die Errichtung eines überregionalen Kulturzentrums Raum geschaffen werden für die Aufrechterhaltung der indianischen Kulturvielfalt und ihrer diversen Ausdrucksformen.
