Das Projekt wird von Klimabündnis Österreich in Kooperation mit dem Interuniversitären Forschungszentrum für Technik, Arbeit und Kultur (IFZ), Südwind Agentur, FairTrade Österreich sowie Ökokauf Wien und der auf Vergaberecht spezialisierten Unternehmensberatung prove GmbH realisiert.

Das Vorhaben stellt eine Fortführung und Erweiterung des 2007 begonnen Konsortialprojektes (Vorgängerverttrag: 2398-24/2007 IFZ) dar. Die gemeinsame Initiative forciert die Praxis einer nachhaltigen - insbesondere sozialverträglichen - öffentlichen Beschaffung in Österreich. Die Bereiche Lebensmittel und Textilien werden weiter intensiviert und durch den Bereich Steine ergänzt. Die Aktivitäten umfassen die Aktualisierung des Instrumentariums für BeschafferInnen (Ausweitung auf Themenfeld Steine; Einbeziehung neuer rechtlicher Aspekte der EU), die Informationsarbeit/Sensibilisierung für das Thema "Fairer Einkauf" (Veranstaltungen zum Thema Gütesiegel, Good Practice Veranstaltungen), Trainings und begleitende Beratungen für BeschafferInnen, die Begleitung/Beratung konkreter Beschaffungsvorgänge sowie begleitende Medienarbeit. Als Zielgruppen angesprochen werden primär Beschaffungsverantwortliche der öffentlichen Verwaltung, weiters EntscheidungsträgerInnen aus Politik und Verwaltung, zivilgesellschaftliche Gruppen, sowie eine interessierte allgemeine Öffentlichkeit.


Das Projekt wird aus OEZA-Mitteln in der Höhe von Euro 40.000,- (53,33% des Gesamtprojektvolumens von Euro 75.000,-) gefördert. Die Laufzeit beträgt 14 Monate.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
