Overall goal


Das Vorhaben wird von CARE in Georgien durchgeführt mit dem Ziel, verbesserte Dienstleistungen und Strukturen zivilgesellschaftlicher Organisationen und örtlicher Behörden in fünf Dörfern in der Region Racha-Lechkhumi zu schaffen. Diese sollen in gender-sensitiver Weise zur Armutsreduktion in 1000 landwirtschaftlichen Haushalten beitragen. Bei allen Aktivitäten wird auf die Förderung von Frauen Bedacht genommen.


Zielgruppen: 5 Community Based Organisations (CBOs) in den Gemeinden Oni, Tsageri & Ambrolauri; örtliche Behörden; 1000 landwirtschaftliche Haushalte; die NGO AIC; regionale Behörden von Racha-Lechkhumi.


Resultate

Resultat 1: Gestärkte Kapazität und Erfahrung von CBOs und lokalen Behörden, in Zusammenarbeit mit der Bevölkerung wirksame Maßnahmen zur Dorfentwicklung und Armutsreduktion in gender-sensitiver Weise zu planen und umzusetzen.

Resultat 2: Ein selbst-finanzierendes "Community Resource Centre" und CBO/NGO-unterstützte wirtschaftliche Initiativen fördern Wissensaustausch/ Lernprozesse und erhöhen Haushaltseinkommen in Racha-Lechkhumi auf gender-sensitive Weise.

Resultat 3: Die Bevölkerung und Entscheidungsträger in Oni, Ambrolauri and Tsageri kennen wirksame Lösungen zur Armutsbekämpfung und setzen diese ein.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
