Overall goal


Projektziel ist die Verbesserung der sozio-ökonomischen Lage der Bevölkerung von Sericho Division. Die einzelnen Projektkomponenten zielen darauf ab, die Begünstigten zu befähigen, ihre Probleme zu identifizieren und Lösungen zu erkennen, das Einkommen der Zielgruppe zu erhöhen und die Bevölkerung sowie ihr Nutzvieh mit Wasser zu versorgen. Zielgruppe der Komponenten "Training and Awareness" und "Business Promotion" sind je 20 Mitglieder von 58 bereits bestehenden Gruppen (davon 32 Frauen- und 26 Männergruppen), insgesamt 1160 Personen; für die Auswahl der Begünstigten wurde ein Kriterienkatalog erstellt. Zielgruppe der Projektkomponente "Water Supply" sind alle Bewohner der Region.

  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
