Overall goal


Voluntaris organisiert Freiwilligendienste für Menschen mit Berufserfahrung und bietet Erwerbstätigen und PensionistInnen die Möglichkeit, sich im Rahmen einer freiwilligen Tätigkeit im Bereich der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit zu engagieren. Die ProjektpartnerInnen sind anerkannte lokale NGOs oder kirchliche ProjektträgerInnen in Afrika, Asien, Lateinamerika und Osteuropa. Das Programm umfasst Bewerbungs- und Auswahlverfahren, Auswahl eines geeigneten Projektes, Unterstützung bei der inhaltlichen und organisatorischen Vorbereitung auf den Auslandseinsatz, und Begleitung der Freiwilligen während des Einsatzes. Alle VolontärInnen sind Teil eines bestehenden Arbeitsteams und sollen zur Unterstützung der lokalen Projektverantwortlichen beitragen. Nach Beendigung der freiwilligen Tätigkeit im Ausland findet ein Debriefing statt. Neben der Reflexion des Erlebten werden alle RückkehrerInnen eingeladen sich weiter mit entwicklungspolitischen Themen auseinanderzusetzen und sich in Österreich zu engagieren.


Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von Euro 152.000 in der Höhe von Euro 98.000.- (64,47%) gefördert.

  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
