Overall goal


Ziel des Vorhabens ist der Aufbau der GEXSI Suchmaschine in Österreich, welche mit den generierten Einnahmen innovative, EZ-relevante SDG-Projekte aus Österreich unterstützt, welche gemeinsam mit der Impact Community oder auch Unternehmens-partnern ausgewählt werden.


Expected results


Das Ziel ist, bis Ende 2022 mehr als 25.000 Nutzer in Österreich zu gewinnen und bis dahin mindestens 5 Impact Projekte bzw. Initiativen aus Österreich, die einen klaren Bezug zu den SDGs sowie eine entwicklungspolitische Relevanz haben, zu unterstützen. Wir gehen davon aus, dass bis Ende 2023 über die Websuche akkumuliert mehr als 50,000€ für das Impact Portfolio in Österreich generiert werden.


Target group / Beneficiaries


Es wird zwischen zwei relevanten Zielgruppen unterschieden:


• den Nutzern der Suchmaschine, die hierdurch für die Agenda 2030 sensibilisiert werden (und täglich einen kleinen Beitrag zu ihrer Umsetzung leisten)

• den Impact-Projekten, die wir mit den über die Nutzerbasis in Österreich generierten Einnahmen unterstützen.

 


Activities


Folgende Aktivitäten sind geplant:


• Adaption der Gexsi Suche für Österreich, mit eigenem Wertversprechen, eine eigene Landingpage und eigenem Search Feed und News Widget.

• Aufbau von Unternehmenspartnerschaften, mit Blick auf den Wechsel der Suchmaschine als CSR Engagement als auch als mögliche Impact-Partner

• Aufbau eigener Kommunikationskanäle, insbesondere Online Marketing und Social Media sowie Presse- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit (Newsletter, Sichtbarkeit auf Events, Medienarbeit).

Gexsi ist ein Social Business, das eine Internet Suchmaschine betreibt, die 100% non-profit ist und mit den Einnahmen Social Entrepreneurship-Projekte, die einen Beitrag zu den 17 UN Nachhaltigkeitszielen leisten, unterstützt.

    • BMLFUW - Federal Ministry for Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water
    • EU - Funds of the European Commission
    • Others - various other donors are listed in ADA’s annual business report.
  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
