Overall goal


Jugend Eine Welt richtet sich mit diesem Projekt an junge Erwachsene im Alter von 19-35 Jahren, die im Rahmen eines Volontariats oder Zivilersatzdiensts für ein Jahr in Bildungs- und Sozialprojekten in Lateinamerika, Afrika und Asien mitarbeiten. Die Projektmaßnahmen beinhalten neben der Organisation und Durchführung des Einsatzes vor Ort auch Informations- und Bildungsarbeit in Österreich. Im Rahmen des Projektes vorgesehen sind: Die Auswahl und Vorbereitung der TeilnehmerInnen, De-Briefings nach dem Einsatz sowie Schulungs- und Vernetzungsangebote, um die TeilnehmerInnen in ihrer Rolle als MultiplikatorInnen für die entwicklungspolitische Inlandsarbeit zu unterstützen und deren längerfristiges entwicklungspolitisches Engagement zu fördern. Zielsetzung ist die Ermöglichung von Begegnung zwischen Menschen unterschiedlicher gesellschaftlicher Herkunft sowie die Förderung von interkulturellem Dialog. Das Volontariatsprogramm wird erstmals als Projekt der Entwicklunsgpolitischen Kommunikation und Bildung gefördert, da sein Stellenwert für die Arbeit in Österreich anerkannt wird.
