Overall goal


Enchada ist das Netzwerk Entwicklungspolitik der Katholischen Jugend Österreich (KJÖ). Das Vorhaben besteht aus folgenden Projektteilen:

Teil A) Im Rahmen des Jugendaustauschprogramms von Enchada finden im Zeitraum von 2 Jahren jeweils ein vierwöchiger Besuch österreichischer Jugendlicher/ junger Erwachsener in Indien bzw. El Salvador und Gegenbesuche der ProjektpartnerInnen aus diesen Ländern in Österreich statt. Im Februar 2012 reisen sechs junge Erwachsene nach Indien und im Juli weitere 6 nach El Salvador. Im Gegenzug werden im Dezember 2012 Gäste aus El Salvador erwartet.

Teil B) Der entwicklungspolitische Grundkurs wendet sich an MultiplikatorInnen der (kirchlichen) Jugendarbeit, Studierende der Internationalen Entwicklung sowie an andere interessierte TeilnehmerInnen mit entwicklungspolitischen Vorkenntnissen. Er umfasst 2 Module und vermittelt entwicklungspolitisches Basiswissen. Der Kurs informiert weiters über Handlungsoptionen in der Jugendarbeit und möchte zu solidarischem Handeln motivieren.

Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von Euro 29.242,- in der Höhe von Euro 10.000,- (34,20 %) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
