Overall goal


Das Projekt hat zum Ziel, zehn Gemeinden in Bosnien-Herzegowina inklusiver zu gestalten, damit sich Menschen mit Behinderungen gleichberechtigt in allen Bereichen der Gesellschaft einbringen können. Somit wird ein Beitrag zu einer aktiven und starken Zivilgesellschaft und mittel- und langfristig zu einer Verringerung der Armut geleistet. Zunächst werden zehn Jugendorganisationen gestärkt, sodass sie sich als Promotoren für Inklusion einsetzen können. Sie führen mit ihren rund 1.300 Freiwilligen Projekte durch, mit denen die Inklusion gefördert wird. Dies sind zum Beispiel kulturelle Events, in denen KünstlerInnen mit Behinderung gemeinsam mit KünstlerInnen ohne Behinderung auftreten, oder Projekte, durch welche die öffentliche Infrastruktur für Menschen mit Behinderung angepasst werden soll. Geschichten und Ergebnisse aus den Gemeinden werden in sozialen Medien in Bosnien-Herzegowina diskutiert und verbreitet. 50 Jugendliche aus den Gemeinden, davon zehn mit Behinderungen, werden ausgewählt und sollen als Vorbilder und „role models“ agieren, indem sie die Inklusion von Jugendlichen mit Behinderungen in den Aktivitäten auf Gemeindeebene vorantreiben. Der lokale Projektpartner MOZAIK setzt in der Projektumsetzung auf den erprobten „Community Driven Development“ Ansatz. Dabei werden möglichst viele Gemeindemitglieder zu dem Thema sensibilisiert und motiviert, sich aktiv an den Aktivitäten zu beteiligen und somit als Schlüssel für eine erfolgreiche und nachhaltige Gemeinschaftsentwicklung zu agieren. Es wird darauf geachtet, dass Mädchen und Frauen gleichberechtigt in die Projektakivitäten einbezogen sind.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.

  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
