Keshar Mahal ist eine der wenigen innerstädtischen Grünanlagen in Kathmandu und eines der vielen architektonischen Kleinode, das dem Verfall preisgegeben war. Ziel des Projektes ist die Rehabilitierung und Nutzung dieser Parkanlage mit seinen architektonisch einzigartigen Pavillons im Zentrum von Kathmandu. Die Anlage soll restauriert und als Erholungsgelände den Einheimischen wie den Touristen zugänglich gemacht werden. Ein zentraler Aspekt ist dabei auch die Ausbildung von lokalen Fachkräften (Architekten, Gärtner und Landschaftsgestalter) durch ihre Mitarbeit am Projekt. Durch die Einrichtung von Gastbetrieben in den Pavillons soll der Garten der sechs Jahreszeiten/Garden of Dreams eine langfristig wirtschaftliche Grundlage bekommen und sich aus den Erlösen durch Verpachtung selbst erhalten können.

Beim gegenständlichen Projektvertrag handelt es sich um die Fertigstellungs- und Übergabephase dieses mehrjährigen Projekts. Insbesondere soll die Überführung in ein nachhaltiges, eigenständiges Managementsystem erfolgen. Weiters werden Aktivitäten im Rahmen der Gärtnerausbildung abgerundet.
