Overall goal


Kredite werden vergeben, um Investitionen in einkommensschaffende Aktivitäten bzw. Schaffung von Arbeitsplätzen zu ermöglichen. Die Kredite sollen individuellen Frauen oder Frauengruppen zu eigener Erwerbstätigkeit verhelfen, um wirtschaftliche Unabhängigkeit zu erreichen.

Zielgruppe des Projektes sind Frauen aus jeweils 10 bis 15 benachbarten Pfarren in 18 Diözesen Tanzanias. Auswahlkritierien für Begünstigte wurden erarbeitet, der Höchstbetrag für individuelle Kredite wurde mit TSH 150.000 (ca. Euro 220) festgesetzt, um tatsächlich die bedürftigsten Frauen zu erreichen.

Aktivitäten:

- Vergabe von Kleinkrediten an 200 Frauen pro Diözese und Jahr

- Angepasste Trainings für Führungskräfte von WAWATA auf den verschiedenen Organisationsebenen, professionelles Personal und Begünstigte

- Teilnahme an der jährl. Konferenz für VertreterInnen aus allen Diözesen des Landes

- Monitoring und Evaluierung der Projektdurchführung durch Mitglieder des nationalen Teams

- Überleitung des Kreditfonds in einen Trust Fund

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
