Short Description:

Overall goal


Die Förderung der Vorhaben zivilgesellschaftlicher Organisationen als Ergänzung der im Rahmen der Länderstrategie sowie der regionalen Strategie für den Westbalkan laufenden Programme und Projekte. Ferner sollen die Kleinprojekte auch zur Verstärkung laufender Projekte und Programme des aktuellen Arbeitsfeldprogrammes 2023 dienen. Schließlich folgen die Kleinprojekte auch das Ziel der Capacity Building der zivilgesellschaftlichen Akteure.


Expected results


Erfolgreiche Umsetzung der Vorhaben in den Bereichen:

- Unterstützung von marginalisierten und vulnerablen Gruppen;

- Maßnahmen zur Unterstützung der Integration von ethnischen Minderheiten;

- Ländliche bzw. wirtschaftliche Entwicklung;

- Bildung inkl. Förderung von Bildungsmöglichkeiten für Jugendliche, Minderheiten; Geschlechtergleichstellung, Frauenrechte, GBV und Minderheitenschutz.


Target group / Beneficiaries


Gezielte Unterstützung von (zivilgesellschaftlichen) Initiativen zugunsten lokaler Akteure in den oben genannten Bereichen und unter Berücksichtigung des „Leave no one behind - Ansatzes“ (SDGs) und GAP III.


Activities


Erreicht werden die Ziele durch folgende Maßnahmen:

- (Ko-)Finanzierung von Projekten in Ergänzung zur Landesstrategie und dem jeweiligen Arbeitsfeldprogramm;

- Technische Assistenz;

- Kurzfristige Unterstützung von Veranstaltungen / Kapazitäten / Wissensmanagement und Wissenstransfer in den genannten Bereichen;

- Maßnahmen zu Gunsten von Harmonisierung und Maßnahmen im Rahmen gemeinsamer Geberinitiativen;

- Maßnahmen zur Friedenssicherung, Versöhnung und Konfliktprävention.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
