Overall goal


Das EU-kofinanzierte Projekt verbindet in einem Bildungsprogramm die Themenfelder Klimaschutz und Globales Handeln. Es bietet Umweltbeauftragten und UmweltkoordinatorInnen aus Tourismusunternehmen, Sozialwirtschaft, Umweltverbänden, Gemeinden sowie Kirchen ein qualifiziertes Weiterbildungsprogramm zu ¿PromotorInnen für Klimagerechtigkeit'. Zentrales Element ist das Konzept der Klimagerechtigkeit, welches allen Menschen das Recht auf die gleiche Menge an Treibhausgasemissionen zugesteht. Die Zielgruppen werden für die globale Dimension des Umwelt- und Klimamanagements sensibilisiert und lernen anhand von Beispielen Handlungsmöglichkeiten kennen. Konkret wird vorgestellt, wie durch Klimakompensationen, Projektpartnerschaften, Ressourcennutzung, Emissions-einsparungen, Beschaffungswesen und ethische Geldanlagen Impulse für eine Verbesserung der Situation in den Ländern des Südens gesetzt werden können. Das Projekt umfasst mehrere Arbeitsfelder. Ein qualifiziertes Weiterbildungsangebot für Fachkräfte wird entwickelt, dabei wird u.a. ein geographisches Modul zu Sub-Sahara-Afrika erarbeitet. Der Transfer auf die unterschiedlichen europäischen Kontexte/Länder (inkl. Übersetzung der Module/Inhalte ins Englische und Französische) findet statt. Eine E-Learning-Plattform und Schulungsmaterialien werden bereitgestellt. In onlinebasierten Kursen mit Präsenzveranstaltungen werden ¿PromotorInnen für Klimagerechtigkeit' ausgebildet. Aktionstage oder Eine-Welt-Projekttage werden durch die ¿PromotorInnen' im Rahmen der Weiterbildung durchgeführt.


Das Projekt wird aus OEZA-Mitteln in der Höhe von EUR 75.000,- (8,68 % des Gesamtprojektvolumens) gefördert. (Laufzeit: 3 Jahre)

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.

  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
