Overall goal


Ziel des Vorhabens ist die Kommunalentwicklung in der Gemeinde Chichigalpa in Westnicaragua. Es dient der langfristigen Verbesserung der Lebensbedingungen von Frauen und Jugendlichen im ländlichen Bereich, sowie der Schaffung nachhaltiger Ausbildungsstrukturen. Ein in Errichtung befindliches Ausbildungszentrum (ASDECOSI) für FacharbeiterInnen in den Fächern Mechanik, Elektrotechnik und Photovoltaik wird weiter ausgebaut. Durch die angebotenen Ausbildungsschwerpunkte im Bereich erneuerbarer und kostenreduzierender Energielösungen (Photovoltaikanlagen/Solarpanele und Öko-Öfen) sollen vor allem marginalisierte, von Exklusion betroffene und gefährdete Jugendliche in die Gesellschaft integriert werden. Ein spezieller Fokus wird dabei auf die Einbindung von weiblichen Jugendlichen in diesen tendenziell männlich geprägten Berufssparten gelegt. Darüber hinaus wird bis zum Ende der Projektlaufzeit eine selbstorganisierte Weiterführung der Ausbildungsstätte durch die lokale Bevölkerung angestrebt. Das von CHICA Österreich getragene Projekt soll in Zusammenarbeit mit dem nicaraguanischen Verein für Kommunalentwicklung mit internationaler Solidarität (ASDECOSI), der Stadtverwaltung von Chichigalpa und den langjährig etablierten CHICA Netzwerken durchgeführt werden.


- Resultat 1: Weniger Jugendarbeitslosigkeit in Chichigalpa, gut ausgebildete Fachkräfte in technischen Berufen

- Resultat 3: Verbessertes Umweltbewusstsein der MitarbeiterInnen und SchülerInnen

- Resultat 4: Bestehende Einnahmequelle zum eigenständigen Erhalt des Ausbildungszentrums ASDECOSI durch den erfolgreichen Verkauf von Öfen
