Overall goal


Das Projekt ist die Fortsetzung eines dreijährigen kofinanzierten Projekts, das Ende 1999 abgeschlossen wurde. Projektziel ist die Verbesserung und dauerhafte Sicherung der Nahrungsmittelversorgung für die Kleinbauern im peruanischen Amazonastiefland.

Die sozioökonomischen Indikatoren in diesem Gebiet zeigen eine Situation extremer Armut:

70 % der Bevölkerung können ihre Grundbedürfnisse nicht befriedigen, die chronische Unterernährung liegt bei 53 %. Der Organisationsgrad der Bauern ist niedrig. Ca. 5.000 Familien bzw. 30.000 Personen werden vom Programm begünstigt.

Erwartete Resultate (geplante Aktivitäten):

1) 5.000 Familien im Amazonastiefland betreiben wirtschaftliche Aktivitäten über ein effizientes und nachhaltiges Kreditprogramm (Vorbereitung und Verbreitung des Kreditprogramms und Vergabe der Kredite nach festgelegten Kriterien).

2) Die Fähigkeiten zur Selbstverwaltung und zur adäquaten Nutzung der lokalen Ressourcen durch Familien, Dorforganisationen und Führungspersonen wurde gestärkt (Erarbeitung eines Ausbildungsplans, Ausbildung der Kreditkomitees, Ausbildung von Führungspersonen).

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
