Overall goal


Die Dreikönigsaktion der Katholischen Jungschar führt seit 1997 das Programm "Lerneinsätze - Förderung von jungen Menschen mit Potenzial für entwicklungs-politisches Engagement" durch. Dieses umfasst Begegnungsreisen von der Dauer eines Monats für eine Gruppe von ca. 10 jungen Erwachsenen inkl. einer umfassenden Vor- und Nachbereitung sowie Maßnahmen zur Steigerung der nachhaltigen Wirkungen der Einsätze. Lerneinsätze finden 2006 in Ghana, Peru und auf den Philippinen statt.


Die DKA hat für ihr Projekt "Lerneinsätze" ein umfangreiches Konzept erarbeitet, das nach einer Selbstevaluierung des Projekts im Jahr 2004 für die Lerneinsätze 2006 - 2009 aktualisiert wurde. Die Evaluierung zeigt, dass die Teilnehmenden zu mehr als der Hälfte Studierende sind (56,7%), ca. 10 % der TeilnehmerInnen sind MitarbeiterInnen der Jungschar oder anderer entwicklungspolitischer Einrichtungen und JugendleiterInnen. Insgesamt nehmen mehr Frauen als Männer das Angebot in Anspruch.


Ein wesentlicher Faktor bei der Förderung von Reise- und Begegnungs-programmen ist der erwartete Multiplikatoreffekt. Es wird davon ausgegangen, dass ein Großteil der Teilnehmenden nach der Reise bzw. nach dem Lerneinsatz weitergehendes Interesse an entwicklungspolitischen Fragen entwickelt und selbst im Rahmen von Veranstaltungen oder einer Projektmitarbeit aktiv wird. Die Evaluierung des Projekts Lerneinsätze zeigt, dass 41,7 % der Teilnehmenden mind. einen Diavortrag hält, 25 % gestalten eine Unterrichtseinheit und 38,3 % engagieren sich bei anderen entwicklungspolitischen Organisationen.


Das Projekt wird aus OEZA-Mitteln in der Höhe von Euro 10.000,00

(13,52% des Gesamtprojektvolumens) gefördert.
