Overall goal


Seit 1997 führt die Dreikönigsaktion erfolgreich ihr Konzept der Lerneinsätze durch. 2008 wird erneut ein ca. neunmonatigen Bildungsprozess im Rahmen dieses LernEinsatzes durchgeführt. Die Begegnungsreise wird acht bis zwölf junge Menschen nach Lateinamerika (Brasilien oder Peru), Ghana und Philippinen führen. Dabei erfolgt die Auswahl der TeilnehmerInnen über schriftliche Bewerbung, und nach einer persönlichen Absolvierung eines Orientierungs- und Auswahlwochenendes fest. Ein wesentlicher Faktor bei der Förderung von Reise- und Begegnungsprogrammen ist der erwartete Multiplikatoreffekt. Es wird davon ausgegangen, dass ein Großteil der Teilnehmenden nach der Reise bzw. nach dem Lerneinsatz weitergehendes Interesse an entwicklungspolitischen Fragen entwickelt und im Rahmen von Veranstaltungen oder einer Projektmitarbeit selbst aktiv wird.


Das Programm im Zielland wird von Projektpartnern der DKA organisiert und begleitet. Es beinhaltet Vorträge und Kursmaßnahmen zu Geschichte, Politik, Wirtschaft und Kultur des Landes, Begegnungen mit Basisorganisationen, Besuche bei Entwicklungsprojekten, Mitleben in Slums oder bei der ländlichen Bevölkerung, Diskussionen und Reflexion der Erfahrungen.


Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von EUR 82.740,00 in der Höhe von EUR 12.000,00 (14,50 %) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
