Overall goal


Die Dreikönigsaktion der Katholischen Jungschar Österreichs führt seit 1997 das Bildungsprogramm ‚LernEinsätze‘ durch. Dieses bietet jungen Erwachsenen die Möglichkeit für einen Lernprozess rund um globale und interkulturelle Fragestellungen. Im Mittelpunkt steht ein einmonatiger Aufenthalt der Teilnehmenden bei Projektpartner-Organisationen der Dreikönigsaktion in Ländern des globalen Südens. Begleitend dazu sind umfassende Vor- und Nachbereitung (mehrmonatiger Auswahl- und Vorbereitungsprozess, Seminare, Reflexion, Planung zukünftiger Aktivitäten) vorgesehen. Primäres Ziel ist es, entwicklungspolitisches Engagement junger Menschen in Österreich nachhaltig zu fördern, indem entwicklungspolitisches Bewusstsein erweitert, Kenntnisse und Fähigkeiten interkultureller Kommunikation erprobt und weiterentwickelt und das Interesse an globalen Fragestellungen sowie an konkreten Erfahrungen mit Menschen und ihren Lebensbedingungen im globalen Süden vertieft werden.


Expected results


Ab 2017 werden regelmäßig 3 Reisen jährlich durchgeführt: 2017 und 2018 insgesamt sechs LernEinsätze (in Ghana, Brasilien, Peru und auf den Philippinen) mit 56 TeilnehmerInnen. Diese setzen sich vertieft mit entwicklungspolitischen Fragen auseinander und engagieren sich nach dem LernEinsatz weiter im entwicklungspolitischen Bereich. Das Jubiläumsjahr 2017 wird als Anlass genommen, zusätzlich auch eine Zusammenkunft von Vertreter/innen aus den Kooperationsländern, zu ermöglichen, die sowohl zur Weiterentwicklung des LernEinsatzes als auch öffentlichkeitswirksam genutzt wird. Eine net-basierte Vernetzungs-Plattform wird realisiert.


Target group / Beneficiaries


Die LernEinsätze richten sich vorrangig an entwicklungspolitisch interessierte junge Menschen in Österreich, die sich intensiv mit Fragen globaler Zusammenhänge und Entwicklungspolitik auseinandersetzen wollen und bereit sind, sich in Österreich für diese Anliegen zu engagieren.


Activities


Durchführung von 4 Orientierungs- bzw. Auswahlseminaren, 4 Vorbereitungs-Seminaren, 6 einmonatige Reisen (1xBrasilien, 2xGhana, 1xPeru, 2xPhilippinen) sowie 2 Reflexions-Seminaren nach der Rückkehr. Das Programm in den Zielländern wird von ProjektpartnerInnen der DKA organisiert und begleitet.

Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von Euro 257.300 mit Euro 45.000 (17,49 %) für 2 Jahre gefördert.
