Overall goal


Auf den Berg Lovcen über Kotor an der außergewöhnlich attraktiven Küste Montenegros soll eine Seilbahn gebaut werden, um das touristische und regionalpolitische Profil der Region zu stärken und gleich zwei Gemeinden zu beleben. Eine österreichisch-montenegrinische Investorengruppe hat Interesse am Bau der Seilbahn angemeldet, die maßgeblich zur Steigerung der Attraktivität der Region beitragen und einen Anziehungspunkt für Touristen darstellen wird. Dadurch werden Arbeitsplätze in der Tourismusbranche in der Region geschaffen.

Die in der Implementierung von Tourismuskonzepten erfahrene Agentur für Regionalentwicklung (ÖAR) soll als unabhängige Agentur eine Machbarkeitsstudie erstellen, ob, wie und unter welchen Bedingungen das Vorhaben realisiert werden kann. Die Maßnahme erweitert und unterstützt das Engagement der ADA auf dem Gebiet der Regional- und Tourismusentwicklung in Montenegro.

  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
