Overall goal


Ziel des Projekts ist es, Jugendlichen eine weiterführende, nachhaltige Ausbildung in den Bereichen "Business-Management/ Unternehmungsführung", "Marketing" und "Kommunikation" zu bieten, so dass sie in der Lage sind, in Gruppen selbstständig ein Mikro-Unternehmen zu gründen und zu leiten.

Das Kolping Vocational Training Centre (KVTC) in Kilimambogo ist ein Berufs-ausbildungszentrum in einer ländlichen Gegend nordöstlich von Nairobi/Kenia, das einjährige Ausbildungsprogramme für Jugendliche in den Bereichen Tischlerei/Zimmerei, Bauhandwerk und EDV anbietet. Nach der Grundausbildung werden die StudentInnen ins Arbeitsleben entlassen. Mangels einer darüber hinaus gehenden notwendigen theoretischen und praktischen Ausbildung findet die Mehrheit der AbsolventInnen keine Arbeit. Hier knüpft das Projekt mit seiner Zusatzausbildung an, bestehend aus theoretischen und praktischen Unterrichtseinheiten, Bildung von Arbeitsgruppen sowie einer Erstausstattung mit Werkzeug für den Start im Arbeitsleben.

Resultate:

- Insgesamt zehn AbsolventInnen der einjährigen Grundausbildung sind aufgrund des Managment-Ausbildungsprogramms ausgebildet in den Bereichen "Unternehmensführung/Business Management", "Marketing" und "Kommunikation";

- 2 von 10 AbsolventInnen des "Management-Ausbildungsprogramms" finden eine Anstellung in einem Fachbetrieb Indikator: Anstellungsunterlagen;

- Mind. 6 von 10 AbsolventInnen des "Management-Ausbildungsprogramms" gründen (evtl. gemeinsam) ein oder zwei Mikro-Unternehmen;

- die AbsolventInnen stellen rund 10% ihrer Einkünfte sowie ihr Knowhow dem nachrückenden Jahrgang als MentorInnen zur Verfügung;

- das "Management-Ausbildungsprogramm" wird evaluiert und institutionalisiert (Ausweitung des Modells auf eine größere Teilnehmerzahl, nach Maßgabe verfügbarer Projektmittel/Förderungen.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
