Das Jubiläum der Welt-Menschenrechtskonferenz im Juni 2013 (Wien+20) nehmen internationale und nationale CSOs aus dem entwicklungspolitischen, menschenrechtlichen, umweltpolitischen und feministischen Feld zum Anlass, Fort- und Rückschritte zu analysieren, Herausforderungen für die Zukunft gemeinsam zu diskutieren und sich mit der Verabschiedung einer Abschlusserklärung und eines Aktionsplanes für den Erhalt und den Schutz von Menschenrechten einzusetzen. Zur CSO-Konferenz Wien+20 vom 25.-26. Juni 2013 im Haus der EU in Wien werden 120 VertreterInnen aus aller Welt erwartet. Die Ergebnisse (Deklaration, Aktionsplan) werden auf der darauf folgenden hochrangigen Regierungskonferenz (federführend BMeiA-Völkerrechtsbüro) präsentiert.

Mit dem Projekt werden Aktivitäten der österreichischen CSO-Plattform Wien+20 (Lead: FIAN Österreich) unterstützt, die für regionale und nationale Vernetzung sowie für die organisatorische Vorbereitung der Konferenz und der Abschlusserklärung verantwortlich zeichnet. Österreichische und internationale CSOs bilden gemeinsam mit ExpertInnen 6-9 Vorbereitungsgruppen zu unterschiedlichen Themen, die sich an der Agenda der offiziellen Konferenz orientieren. Mittels inter-/nationaler Medienarbeit (Print, Radio, TV, Social Media) wird eine breite allgemeine Öffentlichkeit erreicht. FIAN Ö agiert bei der Durchführung des Vorhabens als nationales Sekretariat der Österreichischen Plattform Wien+20.


Das Projekt wird aus OEZA-Mitteln in der Höhe von Euro 30.000,- (74,44% des Gesamtprojektvolumens) gefördert. Laufzeit: 6 Monate

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
