Overall goal


Weltumspannend arbeiten ist der entwicklungspolitische Verein des ÖGB. Zentrales Anliegen der Bildungs- und Informationsarbeit ist es, die Globalisierung der Arbeits- und Lebenswelt anhand von Beispielen zu beleuchten, durch Vernetzung den Austausch von Erfahrungen zu ermöglichen und Handlungskompetenzen für Aktivitäten im privaten, beruflichen und gewerkschaftlichen Umfeld für eine global nachhaltige Entwicklung aufzuzeigen. Das Programm stellt eine Fortführung bewährter Maßnahmen und Weiterentwicklung der Arbeit im gewerkschaftlichen Umfeld dar.


Expected results


Die Bildungsarbeit sensibilisiert die Zielgruppen für entwicklungspolitische Fragestellungen und ihre eigene internationale Vernetzung und zeigt Handlungskompetenzen auf. VeranstaltungsteilnehmerInnen werden durch die nachhaltige Betreuung als MultiplikatorInnen zu eigenen Aktivitäten im privaten und beruflichen Umfeld motiviert. Durch die Maßnahmen der Bildungsarbeit werden österreichweit rund 3200 Personen direkt angesprochen. Über Gewerkschaftsmedien, Ausstellungen, Social Media, etc. wird darüber hinaus rund 1 Mio. Personen indirekt erreicht. Mithilfe begleitender Pressearbeit wird die Reichweite weiter erhöht.


Target group / Beneficiaries


Die Zielgruppen sind hauptamtliche GewerkschafterInnen, BetriebsrätInnen, PersonalvertreterInnen, Funktionäre, Gewerkschaftsmitglieder sowie ArbeitnehmerInnen, KonsumentInnen, zivilgesellschaftliche AkteurInnen und Interessierte. Es sollen verstärkt Jugendliche, Lehrlinge, junge Menschen und Frauen angesprochen werden.


Activities


2017-2019 werden mehr als 80 Veranstaltungen (Seminare, Workshops, Gewerkschaftsschulabende, Diskussionsveranstaltungen) und ein Lehrgang „Global denken, global handeln“ durchgeführt, eine Begegnungsreise (Georgien) organisiert, eine Wanderausstellung (Kuba) mit Begleitprogramm und Infotischen gestaltet, Informationsmaterial und Rollups produziert, der Social Media Auftritt erweitert, 3 Speakerstouren mit Veranstaltungen, Betriebsbesuchen und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit organisiert, 15 Artikel veröffentlicht und 8 Presseaussendungen verschickt.

Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von Euro 370.000,00 mit Euro 270.000,00 (72,97%) gefördert.
