Overall goal


Der Verein Sonador unterstützt mehrere Sozial-, Umwelt- und Kulturprojekte in Costa Rica, darunter seit 2002 auch die Zirkusgruppe "Fantazztico" für sozial benachteiligte Kinder. Mit dem Vorhaben wird im Juni 2011 ein Begegnungs- und Aufführungsprogramm der 19-köpfigen costaricanischen Kinder-Zirkusgruppe in Österreich durchgeführt. Die Produktion "Shmucané" gibt Einblicke in Geschichte, Mythologie, Traditionen und Lebensweisen der Urbevölkerung Mesoamerikas, Bezüge zu den gegenwärtigen Lebenswelten in Costa Rica werden hergestellt. Im Rahmen ihres 3-wöchigen Aufenthaltes finden Workshops, Film- und Diskussionsabende sowie Aufführungen in Kooperation mit Musik(haupt)schulen in Freistadt (OÖ), Hallein und Innsbruck statt. Breitenwirksamkeit und Multiplikatoreneffekte sichern das geplante Begleitprogramm, die breite Kooperationsbasis mit vielen entwicklungspolitischen Akteuren in 3 Bundesländern und die koordinierte Medienarbeit. Als Zielgruppen werden primär MusikschülerInnen und -professorinnen, Eltern sowie eine breitere interessierte Öffentlichkeit angesprochen.


Das Projekt wird aus OEZA-Mitteln in der Höhe von Euro 10.000,- (24,10 % des Gesamtprojektvolumens) gefördert.
