Overall goal


Das Dreijahresprogramm des IEZ / Interdisziplinäres Forschungsinstitut für Entwicklungszusammenarbeit der J. Kepler Univ. Linz (Standort Gmunden) fokussiert auf die zentrale Bedeutung der natürlichen Ressourcen für Armutsbekämpfung und nachhaltige Entwicklungen. Mit dem Vorhaben leistet das IEZ einen Beitrag zur Wissensverbreitung über globale Herausforderungen leisten, Werthaltungen vermitteln und die Gestaltungskompetenz fördern (Bildung für Nachhaltige Ent¬wicklung).

Das Projekt umfasst insgesamt sechs Veranstaltungen mit Begleitprogramm (zwei pro Jahr) im Raum Gmunden und Umgebung (Altmünster) zu den Themen Boden, Wasser, biologische Vielfalt, Ozeane, Klima und hidden hunger. Neben Diskussionen mit renommierten ExpertInnen und WissenschafterInnen wird ein vielfältiges Rahmenprogramm mit Filmvor-führungen, Pflanzentauschbörse, Verkostungen, begleitenden Workshops, Plakatausstellung und szenischer Darstellung durch Schüler/innen geboten. Neben Multiplikator/innen aus Zivilgesellschaft, Land-/Wirtschaft, Verwaltung und Politik werden insbesondere auch Medien und Schulen angesprochen.


Das Projekt wird aus OEZA-Mitteln in der Höhe von insgesamt Euro 24.000,- (39 % des Gesamtprojektvolumens) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
