Overall goal


Das Rahmenprogramm 2009-2011 von ICEP hat die Stärkung von fünf Partnerorganisationen in Ostafrika (Kenia und Uganda) und Zentralamerika (El Salvador, Guatemala und Nicaragua) sowie den Know-how Transfer im Bereich Women's Empowerment zum Inhalt.

Es geht dabei vor allem darum, die von ICEP gemeimsam mit dem kenianischen Partner entwickelte Methodologie zum Empowerment von Frauen in armen ländlichen Gebieten an interessierte Partner weiterzugeben. Bei der gewählten Methodologie werden Studentinnen zu Multiplikatorinnen ausgebildet und führen Ausbildungskurse in Unternehmertum und zur Stärkung der Persönlichkeit direkt bei den Frauen in deren ländlichen Gemeinden durch. Durch diese Ausbildungsstrukturen erhalten Frauen die notwendigen Hilfsmittel (Empowerment und unternehmerische Kenntnisse), die es ihnen ermöglichen, ein Mikrounternehmen zu starten bzw zu professionalisieren und somit ihr eigenes Einkommen nachhaltig zu erwirtschaften.

Erwartete Resultate sind:

1. Fünf Frauenorganisationen aus dem Süden haben die Methodologie der Multiplikatorinnen in ihr Ausbildungsprogramm integriert und wurden institutionell gestärkt.

2. Die Methodologie der Multiplikatorinnen wurde abstrahiert und in Form eines Handbuchs für andere Organisationen verfügbar und zugänglich gemacht.

3. 40 Vertreter von Süd-NGOs, die mit armen und extrem armen Frauen arbeiten, haben an einem von zwei regionalen Workshops zur Methodologie der Multiplikatorinnen teil-genommen und ein Handbuch erhalten.

5. Die fünf NGOs wurden im Rahmen von jährlichen Capacity Building-Seminaren von ICEP organisationell gestärkt und haben eine Nachbetreuung bei der Implementierung der Methodologie erhalten.

6. Die drei NGOs, die über keine Erfahrung in der Anwendung der Methodologie jetzt verfügen, haben direkt vom Knowhow der zwei erfahreneren NGOs (Kianda und AFCyD) profitiert.

Direkte Zielgruppen sind die fünf Frauen-NGOs in den o.g. Entwicklungsländern. Indirekte Zielgruppe sind 2.200 Frauen in ländl. Gebieten.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
