Oberziel: Verbesserung ländlicher Lebensbedingungen


Projektziel: Steigerung der Wertschöpfung in der ökologischen Landwirtschaft (öLW) und bessere Effizienz von ausgewählten öffentlichen und privaten Institutionen in Armenien


Erwartete Ergebnisse:

(1) Entwicklung der rechtlichen Rahmenbedingungen für öLW in Armenien und Kapazitätsentwicklung – Revision der bestehenden gesetzlichen Regelungen für öLW sowie die Unterstützung des LW-Ministeriums bei der Entwicklung nationaler Standards/Harmonisierung mit internationalen Standards. Zudem sollen spezifische Fortbildungsmaßnahmen gestaltet und umgesetzt und die Entwicklung von Curricula begleitet und unterstützt werden.

(2) Unterstützung von LandwirtInnen und Kooperativen, sowie weiterverarbeitenden Betrieben in 3-5 ausgewählten Wertschöpfungsketten über ein Grant Scheme (1 MEUR), um z.B. Produktivitätssteigerungen zu erzielen oder den Übergang von konventioneller zu öLW zu erleichtern. Komplementär sind konkrete Trainings- und Beratungsleistungen zur Unterstützung der Bewerber vorgesehen.

(3) Positionierung von Produkten aus armenischer öLW auf lokalen und internationalen Märkten – Entwicklung von Markenzeichen, Erstellung von Werbematerialien oder Teilnahme an Messen. Dazu Austausch armenischer ProduzentInnen mit österreichischen/europäischen Firmen, zur Verfügungstellung von Marktinformation, Unterstützungsmaßnahmen für Zertifizierungsinstitute (Anpassung an internationale Standards). Parallel dazu Stärkung öffentlicher und privater Beratungsdienste und Bewusstseinsbildung für öLW.


Zielgruppe: bis zu 500 ländliche Haushalte, wobei insbesondere inklusive Prozesse gefördert werden, um die Beteiligung und den Nutzen von armen und verwundbaren Personen zu gewährleisten.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
