Overall goal


Das Projekt wird von den ROTE NASEN Clowndoctors International initiiert. Zielsetzung ist der Aufbau einer selbständigen und nachhaltigen Partnerorganisation zur Verbesserung der Situation von stationären Patientinnen und Patienten im Westjordanland. Die palästinensischen Gebiete sind durch den jahrzehntelangen politischen Konflikt als Krisengebiete einzustufen und psychosoziale Gesundheitsdienste werden dringend benötigt. Die kranken Menschen zeigen häufig Symptome der Posttraumatischen Belastungsstörung. Die uneingeschränkte Bewegungsfreiheit wird durch die Besatzung erschwert und Besuche von Familienangehörigen oder Freunden im Krankenhaus können dadurch verzögert oder auch verhindert werden. Das RED NOSES Palestine Projekt kann wesentlich zur Verbesserung der psychosozialen Konstitution der Patientinnen und Patienten beitragen. Die kranken Menschen haben so mehr Zuwendung, sie bekommen das Gefühl der Sicherheit, mehr Lebensfreude und eine Unterstützung zur Angstbewältigung. Die Aktivitäten umfassen: die Ausbildung von Clowns und Clown-Trainern in den palästinensischen Gebieten und in der International School of Humour in Wien, verbesserte Kooperationen mit Krankenhäusern, Trainingseinheiten und Workshops für Clowns und medizinisches Personal, Organisationsentwicklung im Bereich Office Management, Einsätze der Clowns sowie ein erhöhter Bekanntheitsgrad und die Akkreditierung der Ausbildungsprogramme von RED NOSES Palestine.
