Südwind NÖ-Süd ist seit vielen Jahren ein wichtiger Akteur der entwicklungspolitischen Arbeit in Niederösterreich (Regionen Industrie- und Weinviertel) und hat sich v. a. auf die Entwicklung von Bildungsangeboten mit einer Verknüpfung von entwicklungs- und umweltpolitischen Anliegen konzentriert.


Südwind NÖ-Süd hat in den vergangenen Jahren hohe Kompetenz in der Konzipierung aktivierender Bildungsangebote für junge Menschen und MultiplikatorInnen erworben und setzt sein Bildungsangebot für junge Menschen und MultiplikatorInnen fort, das - in Anknüpfung an das achte UN-Millenniumentwicklungsziel "Globale Partnerschaften" - das Thema "Fairness" als wesentlichen Faktor für gleichberechtigte Entwicklungspartnerschaft bearbeitet.


Als öffentliche Auftaktveranstaltung gilt die Durchführung von Fairen Wochen. Die Projektmaßnahmen umfassen u.a. die Durchführung von 45 Workshops und 10 Einsätze von Erlebnisausstellungen im schulischen und außerschulischen Bereich zum Thema "Fairness im globalen Kontext". Der Schwerpunkt der Ausstellungen liegt auf dem Thema Klima, jener der Workshops auf weltweiten Zusammenhängen von Produkten, Lebensstil und Einstellungen. Weiters ist die Durchführung von 4 Seminaren / Schulungen mit insgesamt 60 MultiplikatorInnen vorgesehen.


Vorrangige Zielgruppen sind SchülerInnen, LehrerInnen und MultiplikatorInnen in der Bildungsarbeit, Jugendliche und entwicklungs- und umweltpolitisch Interessierte. Begleitend wird ein Schwerpunkt auf die lokale Einbindung in Gemeinden und die regionale Öffentlichkeitsarbeit gelegt.


Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von EUR 74.865,00 in der Höhe von

EUR 30.000,00 (40,07 %) gefördert.
