Overall goal


Das Ziel der Wirtschaftspartnerschaft ist die lokale Verarbeitung von biologisch produzierten Baobab Samen und der Absatz der entstehenden Produkte (Öl, Presskuchen) am europäischen und heimischen Markt.


Das Projekt umfasst sowohl produktions- als auch absatzseitig Maßnahmen wie den Prozess der Ölpressung aufzubauen und MitarbeiterInnen in der Anwendung der Technologie zu schulen. Außerdem wird im Zuge des Projektes der Vertrieb des Baobab-Öls an den Food-Sektor in der Europäischen Union vorbereitet. Dafür ist die Zulassung als Novel Food sowie die Definition und Ansprache der Zielgruppe notwendig. Der verbleibende Presskuchen soll im Sénégal an FuttermittelhändlerInnen und BäuerInnen abgesetzt werden.
