Overall goal


Das Projekt strebt die Verbesserung der Lebensbedingungen der Bevölkerung der Provinz Kompienga im Südosten Burkinas an. Die Bauern und Bäuerinnen von 40 Dörfern mit einer ungefähren Bevölkerung von 60.000, sollen in die Lage versetzt werden, im Rahmen einer nachhaltigen Bewirtschaftung der natürlichen Ressourcen selbständig und eigenverantwortlich die Entwicklung ihres Lebensbereiches zu sichern. Die gezielte Verbesserung der institutionellen technischen Rahmenbedingungen in den ländlichen Gemeinden und in der Provinz soll die Nachhaltigkeit absichern. Die Planung und auch die Umsetzung des Projektes erfolgt(e) mittels einer bewährten partizipativen Methode. Hauptinstrumente sind gezielte Kapazitätsentwicklung auch bei/mit den zuständigen dezentralen Diensten und Behörden in verschiedenen Bereichen sowie ein lokaler Entwicklungsfond (FDL), welcher auch die Kriterien der ÖEZA Sektorpolitik 'Ländliche Entwicklung' berücksichtigt und eigenständig lokal und partizipativ verwaltet wird.


Die 2006 geplanten, eingereichten und durch lokale FDL - Komitees ausgewählten Mikroprojekte sollen 2007 über eine erfahrene burkinische Projektdurchführungsagentur einerseits mittels technischer Assistenz für die Abwicklung durch die Regionaldirektion für Landwirtschaft, Wasserressourcen und Fischzucht begleitet werden (inkl. institutionelle Unterstützung wie Büro, Logistikkosten der Provinzdirektion Kompienga) und andererseits auch direkt umgesetzt werden. Die direkte Umsetzung betrifft Mikroprojekte im Bereich Viehzucht, Biodiversität und Naturreservatsbewirtschaftung sowie Handwerksförderung mit Einbeziehung der lokalen staatlichen Verantwortlichen in der Provinz Kompienga.
