Overall goal


Das Ziel der Wirtschaftspartnerschaft ist es, die Qualität des von KleinbäuerInnen der Region Anorí produzierten Kakaos zu steigern bzw. zu homogenisieren und diese hochqualitative Ware nachhaltig am internationalen Markt zu positionieren. Konkret sollen sich durch das Projekt die Lebensverhältnisse von 127 KakaoproduzentInnen und deren Familien nachhaltig verbessern. Die Wertsteigerung und Vernetzung mit dem internationalen Kakaomarkt ermöglicht ihnen die Generierung von regelmäßigem und gesichertem Einkommen. Die Wirtschaftspartnerschaft in der Gemeinde Anori im Departement Antioquia stellt eine rentable Alternative zum illegalen Kokaanbau dar und bietet den BäuerInnen eine sichere Lebensgrundlage. Die Departement-Regierung Antioquias und auch UNODC sehen durch diese Initiative einen fundamentalen Beitrag zur Entwicklung der Region erfüllt. Durch die Forcierung des Kakaoanbaus wird dem Drogenanbau Einhalt geboten. Eine positive Auswirkung auf die Sicherheitslage in der Region ist zu erwarten.
