Short Description:

Overall goal


Die Kleinvorhaben sollen die Programme und Projekte in den beiden Schwerpunktsektoren

i) Wasser und Siedlungshygiene und

ii) Zugang zu Justiz,

oder in den Querschnittsthemen Menschenrechte, gute Regierungsführung, Gleichstellung der Geschlechter und Klimaschutz strategisch ergänzen.

Das KOBÜ Kampala nutzt dieses Instrument als begleitende Maßnahme zur effizienteren Umsetzung des Arbeitsprogramms für das Schwerpunktland Uganda..


Expected results


- Die geförderten Kleinvorhaben haben das Engagement der OEZA in den Schwerpunktbereichen sinnvoll und relevant ergänzt und unterstützt;

- Ausgewählte Kleinvorhaben leisteten einen positiven Beitrag bei der Umsetzung der Pariser Erklärung in Uganda;

- Innovative Vorhaben innerhalb des programmatischen Rahmens der OEZA in Uganda, die nicht über die Sektorfinanzierungen abgedeckt werden können, konnten rasch und unbürokratisch durchgeführt werden;

- Die geförderten Kleinvorhaben leisteten einen Beitrag zur Sichtbarkeit der OEZA in Uganda;

- Kleinprojekte wurden entsprechend der gültigen Richtlinie administriert und erfolgreich abgeschlossen.

 


Target group / Beneficiaries


Die Zielgruppen und Partner der Kleinprojekte werden im Zuge der Projektidentifikation in einem den Richtlinien entsprechenden Prozess vom KOBÜ Kampala ausgewählt.


Activities


Voraussetzung für die Förderung ist die Erfüllung von inhaltlichen und qualitativen Mindeststandards der eingereichten Kleinprojekte, die jeweils anhand eines definierten Bewertungsbogens geprüft werden.


Context


Die ADA hat zur Unterstützung der Umsetzung ihrer Strategien in den Schwerpunktländern das Instrument der Förderung von Kleinvorhaben durch die jeweiligen Koordinationsbüros (KOBÜs) eingerichtet. Das KOBÜ Kampala möchte dieses Instrument als begleitende Maßnahme zur effizienteren Umsetzung des Arbeitsprogramms 2022 für das Schwerpunktland Uganda nutzen.

    • Others - various other donors are listed in ADA’s annual business report.
  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
