Overall goal


Das vorliegende Rahmenprogramm 2010-2013 hat zum Ziel, Entwicklungsmodelle in ländlichen Gebieten in Nicaragua, Senegal und Palästina zu stärken. Dabei soll einerseits der Schutz von natürlichen Ressourcen (Wald, Boden, Wasser) garantiert werden, während zugleich die lokale wirtschaftliche Entwicklung gefördert wird, die auf der Nutzung genau dieser Ressourcen basiert. In Nicaragua geht es an der Atalantik-Küste um die Nutzung von Waldressourcen; im Senegal, in der Region Thiès, liegt der Fokus auf der Erhaltung der Bodenfruchtbarkeit; und in Palästina steht die Wassernutzung für Landwirtschaft im Mittelpunkt. Insgesamt sind es über 800 Familien und die Gemeinden, in denen sie leben, die in der Umsetzung direkt beteiligt sind.


Über die konkrete nachhaltige Nutzung hinaus, setzt das Programm auf die Stärkung der lokalen Gemeinen, indem neue Ansätze/Innvoationen zur Ressourcennutzung gefördert werden und entsprechend positive Erfahrungen dann in die Praxis Eingang finden sollen. Dazu wird mit den jeweiligen Universitäten zusammenegarbeitet - schlussendlich soll dieses Wissen auch durch die praktische Ausbildung an den Universitäten auch künftig Anwednung erfahren.


Im Rahmen eines Süd-Süd Austausches werden Erfahrungen auch zwischen den Universitäten und den lokalen Organisationen von Nicaragua, Senegal und Palästina vernetzt. Zudem werden Daran auch Publikationen zur Verbreitung und zukünftigen Implementierung dieser Methode beitragen.

  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
