Overall goal


Das Rahmenprogramm 2007-2009 von Jugend Eine Welt - Don Bosco Aktion Austria ((JEW) hat die Ausbildung von Jugendlichen in ländlichen in ländlichen Gebieten von Nepal und Mosambik zum Ziel. Damit sollen vor allem die ländliche Armut bekämpft und die Strategien zur Entwicklung des ländlichen Raums der Don Bosco Partner in Nepal und Mosambik unterstützt werden. Integrale Bildung und Ausbildung von Kindern und Jugendlichen unter Einbeziehung der erwachsenen Bevölkerung ist hier wie dort die nachhaltigste Möglichkeit Armut zu bekämpfen. Zentral ist hierbei die Nutzung der Bildungs-Ressourcen der Projektpartner für die Zielgruppe "ländliche Jugend", um dadurch deren (Aus-) Bildungsstand zu verbessern, die Agrarproduktion zu erhöhen, die Produktvermarktung zu fördern und damit das Familieneinkommen zu steigern bzw. in weiterer Folge ein würdiges Leben auf dem Land zu sichern.


In Ost-Nepal wurde bereits im letzten Rahmenprogramm (2004-2006) ein ländliches Entwicklungsprogramm unterstützt, das nunmehr von seiner Pilotphase in den regulären Betrieb übergeführt werden soll. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf landwirtschaftlicher Weiterbildung, nachhaltigem Ressourceneinsatz und Einkommen schaffenden Maßnahmen in 5 ausgewählten Dörfern.


In Mosambik sollen die in der Region Tete bereits funktionierenden Einrichtungen zu einem organischen Entwicklungskonzept weiterentwickelt und gestärkt sowie sichergestellt werden, dass die im letzten Rahmenprogramm unterstützte Qualitätsverbesserung der berufsbildenden Ausbildung auch entsprechende Auswirkungen auf den ländlichen Raum hat. Vor allem sollen die Bereiche Bildung und Landwirtschaft angekurbelt werden, um Armut nachhaltig zu bekämpfen.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
