Overall goal


In einer inklusiven Gesellschaft führen Menschen mit Behinderungen (MmB) ein selbstbestimmtes und möglichst eigenständiges Leben und können ihre grundlegenden Menschenrechte verwirklichen. Das Rahmenprogramm baut auf den Erfahrungen und Erfolgen der bisherigen Tätigkeit von LICHT FÜR DIE WELT und seinen lokalen Partnern auf und erwartet Verbesserungen auf vier Ebenen:

• individuelle Ebene: Zugang zu Dienstleistungen für MmB, die an ihre Bedürfnisse angepasst sind (z.B. Bildung, Gesundheit, Arbeitsmarkt)

• Familien- und Gemeindeebene: Akzeptanz von MmB in der Gesellschaft

• politische Ebene: gesetzlicher Rahmen für die Rechte von MmB und Umsetzung in konkreten Maßnahmen

• internationale Ebene: Erfahrungen aus Burkina Faso fließen in internationale Prozesse ein, und umgekehrt, Austausch und Vernetzung mit Partnerländern wie Mosambik, Uganda, Äthiopien

Zielgruppen des Programms sind Menschen mit Behinderungen, insbesondere die, die von Armut betroffen sind, sowie ihre Betreuungspersonen. LICHT FÜR DIE WELT unterstützt Partner vor Ort, die in ihrem jeweiligen Umfeld am besten geeignet sind, alle Interventionen für benachteiligte Gruppen zugänglich zu machen, diese bestmöglich in nationale Entwicklungspläne und -programme einzubetten sowie eine starke und inklusive Zivilgesellschaft zu fördern. Den Schwerpunkt bilden sieben Regionen, in drei weiteren Regionen werden darüber hinaus Aktivitäten stattfinden. Resultate:Die Rehabilitationsdienstleitungen des Programms werden jährlich ca. 150.000 Menschen zugutekommen. Es wird ungefähr 2.000 Kindern mit Behinderungen durch das Programm ermöglicht, in die Schule zu gehen oder eine berufliche Ausbildung zu machen. Rund 150 Regierungsabgeordnete erwerben technische Fertigkeiten, um Menschen mit Behinderungen in ihre Programme zu inkludieren. Die verfügbaren Personalressourcen für Rehabilitationsmaßnahmen (Augengesundheit, Physiotherapie, Orthopädie) werden um 20% erhöht. Kofinanzierung 79,7% der Gesamtkosten.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
